Description
In this role you will provide payroll duties for nursing departments, including: * Reconciling One Staff hours to ensure that employee’s hours match the HBS logged hours * Follow a process to standardize all nursing departments to adhere to the same payroll standards and hours documentation * Generate reports to reflect overtime and trends.
Collaborate with each Unit Director to reconcile any payroll discrepancies * Independently prioritizes and completes on-going assignments and projects following the prescribed University and/or departmental guidelines * Track and report trends as required by management team * Update timesheets with cornerstone competencies and mandatory education and LOA pay updates from HR * Follow a process to standardize all nursing departments to adhere to the same payroll standards and hours documentation
Qualifications
Required: * Previous experience in an administrative setting * Experience with managing Excel spreadsheet * Typing skills sufficient to prepare correspondence, grant applications, financial reports, etc.
with speed and accuracy * Skill in developing rapport and trust within department * Ability to organize workload, set priorities, yet is flexible to changing needs/priorities * Ability to analyze information, defining problems and identifying possible solutions * Flexible in responding to the changing needs with payroll deadlines * Ability to create and update spreadsheets Preferred: * Experience using One Staff, highly desired
