The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA.
Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.
SPA is looking for multiple Software Cost Analyst Expert to support a US Space Force customer.
Responsibilities: SPA supports multiple programs at US Space Force’s Space Systems Center, including the Kobayashi Maru software factory.
SPA is a force enabler to USSPACECOM for POM strategies, program substantiation, JCIDS, and requirements management.
We provide highly qualified expertise to NASA’s Safety and Mission Assurance operations.
We also deliver high-end advisory services to the Intelligence Community's in support of strategic objectives, transformation initiatives and acquisition, technical, and business processes.
Provide a broad range of cost estimating support for the Space Systems Command.
This includes software cost estimate development for a portfolio of programs across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle).
Develop, maintain, and updateg credible, defensible, and replicable cost estimates for all software related components within the portfolio across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
This includes but is not limited to source/logical/physical lines of code, programming productivity and maintainability, code growth, engineering updates, capability insertion in accordance with program documents (e.
g.
, Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD)), and applicable policies and guidance.
Government- approved cost estimating tools/software will be utilized to perform the cost estimates leveraging data from Government-approved, published database(s) to include but not limited to Unmanned Space Vehicle Cost Model and Defense Cost and Resource Center.
This position will offer a hybrid working model.
Qualified candidates will be required to work onsite in El Segundo 1 day a week.
You should be within a comfortable driving distance to El Segundo.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Active Secret clearance Bachelor degree in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Statistics 10 years of experience performing software cost analysis for government acquisition programs 3+ years supporrting Space programs Desired Qualifications Master's degree in Finance, Management, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field Experience with cost models (ACEIT, SEER, COCOMO, Excel) a plus Knowledge of Agile cost software estimating desired At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
