Canton Food Company, a Cash and Carry Food Distributor, a highly established business that has been serving Los Angeles and beyond for over 54 years has openings for experienced full time Accounts Payable for its Los Angeles location.
*Job Responsibilities:*
· Perform 3-way matching process (Invoice, PO, Receiving)
· Heavy AP Invoices Processing
· Reconcile vendor’s statement and research/resolve outstanding issues
· Process weekly check run
· Process Expense, Credit Memos, Monthly Recurring Bills
· Able to Calculate Term Discounts, Percentages and Interest
· Assist in Month End Closing
*Requirements:*
· 2 Years of AP Experience is a Plus
· High Attention to Detail with efficiency
· Ability to prepare reports, emails and business correspondence
· Verbal, written and interpersonal skills, Strong Calculator skills
· Strong organizational, analytical and problem skills to manage workflow and priorities
· Proficient in Ten Key, MS Office Experience
· Very Fast Pace
· Mathematically Strong and Accurate
· Prompt reporting with issues and follow-ups
· Flexible to work in an ever-changing environment
