Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Tax Accountant to prepare tax returns for our clients.
Emphasis will be preparing individual tax returns, Form 1040 with some entity tax filings.
To succeed in this role, you should have some experience in preparing tax returns for at least 3 tax years.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral are essential, as you’ll communicate with clients and management.
Tax Accountant responsibilities include organizing client files, reviewing required documents and accurate preparation on tax software.

* Prepare Summary Income Statements * Analyze prior year to current years and communicate variances * Organize and update the company’s tax database * Recommend tax solutions and options for certain tax returns * Keep updated on tax law changes and continuing education * Liaise with staff and external auditors *Skills* * Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant / Tax Preparer * Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures * Familiarity with accounting software packages Intuit/ ProSeries * Communication Skills both written and oral to prepare narratives and explanations.
* Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular) * Excellent analytical and time management skills * Keen attention to detail * BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject; industry certification (CPA or CPA Candidate) is preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $26.
