The Boeing Company is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Disruptive Computing & Networks (DC&N) Finance team in El Segundo or Huntington Beach, CA; Fairfax, VA or Tukwila, WA.
Disruptive Computing and Networks (DC&N) research and engineering projects develop beyond state-of-the-art technologies and mission solutions for future advanced computing, network and sensor mission areas.
The DC&N organization is growing rapidly due to new project and study wins in over the last two years.
To support these new efforts and to position the organization for continued growth we are looking to grow our Finance team.
The ideal candidate(s) will have experience with financial analysis, advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience developing presentations and communicating financial information to various levels of management.
Position Responsibilities: Develop resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs Initiate analysis of resource forecasts and/or control account EACs and financial EACs Compile data from several sources and develops performance reports Initiate variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience Develop, review, analyze and maintain cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis Proficiency and experience Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field Experience using Deltek Cobra or similar Earned Value Management software Experience presenting and communication data in Senior Leadership briefings Experience communicating across organization with suppliers and leadership Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings Ability to effectively manage relationships with customers and stakeholders Highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, and high attention to detail Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.
g.
Bachelor) and typically, 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.
g.
Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.
