Senior Tax Accountant, CPA

*Job Description:* *Role: *Senior Tax Accountant *Location:* Santa Monica, CA/Onsite *Job type: *Fulltime/Permanent *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * * Work with third party CPA’s to insure the timely completion and review of all corporate, partnership and individual returns * Process all payments of annual LLC Fees and business license taxes * Monitor changes in tax law to assist ownership with tax strategies * Prepare all information required for federal or state audits * Review workflow process for opportunities for improvement and be an agent of change regarding process improvement or implementation of additional software * Oversee preparation of annual 1099s * Identify opportunities for property tax assessments and handle the appeal process * Review fixed asset additions for appropriate tax treatment * Advise ownership of tax implications of real estate transactions as needed * Other duties as assigned *REQUIREMENTS * * Bachelor’s degree in accounting * Certified Public Accounting (CPA) Certification * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially with excel * 3 – 5 years of progressive tax experience including the preparation of corporate, partnership and individual returns * Understanding of partnerships including partnership agreements, allocations and accounting * Excellent written and communication skills * Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills * Experience in real estate is strongly preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $110,000.
00 - $140,000.
