We are seeking skilled individuals to join our testing and commissioning team for the light rail project in Los Angeles.
As an Office Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful testing, integration, and commissioning of various systems within the project.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise in testing, procedure development, and electrified rail projects.
*Responsibilities:*
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive testing and commissioning plans.
* Execute testing procedures and protocols to verify the functionality and safety of rail systems, including signaling, electrification, and communications.
* Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing phases, ensuring timely resolution to minimize project delays.
* Document test results, observations, and recommendations for improvement, adhering to project standards and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the development and refinement of testing procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
* Coordinate with external vendors and subcontractors to facilitate testing activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Provide technical support and expertise to project teams and stakeholders as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
* Previous experience in testing, commissioning, or quality assurance, preferably in the transportation or rail industry.
(preferred)
* Familiarity with procedure development, test planning, and execution (preferred)
* Knowledge of electrified rail systems and associated components is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
* Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and safety.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
