*Job Summary:*
Installs and repairs wiring and electrical fixtures in the Industrial and Commercial field.
*Minimum Requirements:*
* Current State Certification for Journeyman
* Active Electrical Trainee Card for Apprentice
* 3-5 years’ experience in the Industrial/Commercial Field
* Have reliable transportation with a clean record
* Successfully pass a drug test
* Opportunity to travel out of town/state 2-4 weeks at a time
* Aerial Lift Certification-Scissor/Boom/Fork
* OSHA 10 or 30
* Availability to work over-time as needed
* Know, adhere and enforce safety rules
* Have own basic tradesmen hand tools

*Job Qualifications:*
* Bend Pipe ½”-3” EMT and Rigid
* Pull wire #12-500MCM
* Install lights-Flush mount or recessed
* Wire make up for lighting, receptacles, motors, panels ETC
* Plans new or modified installations to provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly and hazardous wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
* Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
* Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
* Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
* Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
* Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
* Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads.
* Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
* Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
* Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
