Responsibilities & Duties
Engage in business development activities and solicitation of new business prospects.
Originate new SBA loans.
Meet with customers to discuss financial needs and outline appropriate bank services and resolve problems as necessary.
Participate in community affairs, business, and service organizations, including public speaking; be actively involved to maintain a positive sales environment.
Contribute to overall profitability of the bank; assist in the implementation of income generation, and department marketing efforts
Investigate and follow-up on significant changes in status of existing customers.
Review marketing strategies in relation to department and bank goals and recommend suitable marketing approaches.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
Required: Marketing skills for developing new SBA loans.
Required: Overall knowledge in SBA regulation.
Required: Knowledgeable in banking regulations.
Required: At least 5 years of production experience with SBA 7a loans.
Required: 4 year college degree preferred or 5 years or more production experience with SBA 7a loans.
Written and oral communication skills.
Ability to analyze financial information.
The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $85,000 + bonus + benefits
