Hi, I'm looking for either a studio-type alt dwelling unit or a room to rent in a house share situation (not an apartment).
I’m open to area.
Presently I live in North Hollywood but it’s directly under the flight path of Burbank Airport and the jets are extremely loud.
I need to be somewhere quieter.
Longer-term ideal (a year or more), however I’m flexible to do short-term to start.
Originally I'm from the east coast (Virginia), am a writer & work as a script reader (a story analyst for production companies).
Schedule-wise I'm not an early morning person.
Most days I leave early/mid afternoon until 8-10pm.
Also I do some online studying.
I'm very neat and clean, quiet, considerate, non-smoker of anything (for the same only), no illegal substances of any kind.
The other thing I need is to be able to sleep w/out being woken up by traffic, noisy neighbors, loud music or TV, etc.
Likewise, anything facing the street (unless it's an extremely quiet one) or next to laundry room/machines wouldn't work (been there, done that).
If it's a share, gay, straight non-disclosed whatever makes no difference.
I'm LGBT friendly, just looking for mature individual(s) who don't bring home hookups from "dating" apps.
It should go without saying, but I'd need full kitchen privileges with ample storage space for food.
That said I usually don't a lot of cooking, maybe 1-2x per week (not including morning coffee).
Mostly times it's either take-out or frozen meals.
My food is kosher and I'm Shabbat observant.
I'm looking for a harmonious, no drama living environment.
I'm pretty low-key in that I don't have friends over (prefer to go out), listen to loud music or booming TV, or stomp when I walk.
My Myers-Briggs personality type is INFJ.
What you would get is a responsible, conscientious tenant/roommate.
Looking to move soonish, thinking by March 1 but have some flexibility.
If you have a place and think we might be a match, please be in touch.
Kindly provide details such as type of place (house or apartment), location, rent $ etc.
Thanks!
