1978 FENDER PRECISION BASS Vintage Original P-Bass w/HSC - $1,450 (NELA)

Original Fender P-Bass made in the USA, 1978.
Weight: 11 lbs Neck and Body are original and have matching serial numbers.
Non-original BadAss II bridge, the ubiquitous p-bass upgrade that everybody did before people started to care about mid-late 70's fenders being all original.

Also the tuning pegs have been replaced as well as the knobs and a metal jack-plate has been added for your protection, all of these mods were done before this bass was ever in my possession.
This is a PLAYER grade bass that was used as a back-up on a bunch of US and European tours through the 90's and 2000's, I've owned it since 1993.
It sounds and feels GREAT but does need a new set-up, it's been in storage for the last 10 years.
I believe the Hardshell Case is original too but the latches have seen better days.
Stickers and crud can easily be cleaned/removed but I've left them on for character - actually I'm too lazy to clean it up plus I like the way it looks now! This is an amazing bass that needs to be played!!! $1450 obo, cash only.
