Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:
This position involves providing administrative support to the Language Services Section and Contact Center Directors and personnel at USCIS.
The role is critical for coordinating daily operations, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and supporting Language Specialists and Immigration Service Officers (ISOs).
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with program-related activities at the Language Services Section and Contact Centers in Los Angeles, CA
Supporting the Language Services Section and Contact Center Directors and personnel with daily operations and project-related activities, including coordinating and scheduling meetings and conferences
Maintaining calendars in Microsoft Outlook and coordinating meetings as directed by the Government, including tracking action items and commitments
Providing administrative support to Language Specialists and Immigration Service Officers (ISOs)
Preparing and processing travel management documents and system
Required Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma
2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role supporting senior level management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in setting up conference room equipment, printers, and other office equipment
Work Setting and Environment:
Monday - Friday, normal working hours
Work is to be performed onsite at Los Angeles, CA
