is a nonprofit mental health agency which addresses runaways, homelessness, human sex trafficking, domestic violence and foster care and provides a specialized recovery home, formally known as group home, Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP), for victims of human sex trafficking, Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC), and emotionally disturbed children ages12-18 years old.

*Role Summary: * This position's main purpose is to provide direct clinical services to children and their families, in coordination with inter and intra-agency treatment team members.
Such services include being an active member of the Child and Family Team (CFT), performing in-depth screenings and assessments, conducting intakes, developing treatment plans, providing therapy and rehabilitation services, ensuring medical necessity for delivered services, taking the lead on crisis intervention situations, actively coordinating services across various systems, and maintaining an accurate and complete client record of all delivered and attempted services.
*Major Duties and Responsibilities: * * Serves as a role model for children, youth and families served by The Virtuous Woman Inc.
Maintains emotional stability and an ability to function effectively with children, and/or adolescents who have experienced complex trauma and may always have mental and/or behavioral health and/or substance abuse problems.
Demonstrates appropriate daily behavior, expressions of emotion and professionalism that is free of hostility, aggression and/or unnecessary/inappropriate physical actions.
* Responsible for delivering and coordinating Mental Health Services to clients and families as defined by The Virtuous Woman Inc.
’s Policy and Procedure and the Core Practice Model.
Such services are inclusive of, but not limited to, conducting intake screenings, processing the steps for admission, performing full clinical client assessments, developing individualized treatment plans with clients and families, conducting individual, group and/or family therapy and/or rehabilitation services in adherence with the Client Treatment Plan (CTP) and engaging family members/caregivers/identified support persons in regular collateral contacts/sessions.
* Maintains client confidentiality in accordance with agency Policy and Procedures, respective county guidelines and any applicable state regulations.
Also adheres to all county/state-mandated reporting obligations.
* Responsible for delivering therapeutic interventions/services to and/or on behalf of the client as established by the CTP and consistent with established standards of practice and standards of proficiency discussed and established in clinical and administrative supervision.
* Maintains 24/7 on-call availability for attending to crisis intervention services unless otherwise approved by department leadership.
*Qualifications * _Education & Experience_ * Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or related mental health/human services field.
* Active license with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) OR registered in California an Associate Social Worker (ASW) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) required.
* Experience working with high-risk children, adolescents, and/or families within the Mental Health, Educational, and/or Child Welfare systems preferred.
* Knowledge or experience with LA County Department of Mental Health (DMH) billing and documentation procedures preferred.
* Trained and certified in LA County approved Evidence-Based Practices (EBP), including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), CBT, Seeking Safety, Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), Aggression Replacement Training (ART), Triple P, and/or Incredible Year preferred.
* Availability to be on-call for crisis-related services required.
* Willingness and ability to make frequent field visits, attend meetings, conferences and other job-related events away from headquarters.

_Physical Requirements_ Physical demands include continual sitting, typing, and repetitive computer use for up to 8 hours a day.
The position also requires frequent communication with others, including hearing and speaking clearly with individuals and groups, in person and via phone and video calls.
Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
Occasional regional travel (20%) required.
