Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team at our esteemed skilled nursing facility.
As a Treatment Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care and other treatments to our residents on weekends.
Your expertise and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Wound Care: Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized wound care plans for each resident.
Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed treatments, including but not limited to, medication administration, injections, intravenous therapy, and catheter care.
Ensure accuracy, safety, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatments provided, observations, and resident responses.
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems effectively to record all pertinent information.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and wound care interventions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to modify care plans as needed to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team regarding treatment plans, progress, and any changes in the resident's condition.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care delivery.
*Qualifications:*
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of CA.
Previous experience in wound care and treatment administration.
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.
