The Human Resources Products team conceives, configures, monitors, defines, tests, delivers, monitors, optimizes, and refines human resources products and application technologies, including but not limited to mobile and web applications, collaboration tools, CRM products, budget/financial management products, HR applications, and other services.
This department also works to optimize user experience, address digital accessibility needs, and establish the highest standards of quality assurance and release management for UCLA's administrative applications and technologies.
The Manager, Human Resource Information Products will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HR Information Products team, offering guidance, managing project timelines, and ensuring the optimal allocation of resources, while also serving as a liaison between the team and ITS leadership.
They will also oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Human Resource Information products and services that support the university's strategic objectives and meet the evolving needs of UCLA's students, faculty, and staff.
These types of products will be used to enhance HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, payroll, benefits, and other HR functions.
This leader will lead the prioritization of delivery plans, overseeing the development of acceptance criteria as it relates to organizational goals, and facilitating continuous improvement to support growth and operational effectiveness.
The Manager, Human Resource Information Products will partner with the cross-functional delivery teams to ensure products meet business and user requirements, and with business stakeholders to iterate on and improve the products over time.
The Manager, Human Resources Information Products will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling University stakeholders to effectively leverage human resources products and applications.

Percentage of Time: 100% Shift Start: 8:00 am Shift End: 5:00 pm Qualifications for Position 16 Records Qualifications Required/Preferred Five years of experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology, computer science, management, higher education, or a related field.
Required Two years of experience leading teams in a management or leadership role, particularly in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Required Understanding of how programs relate to other business strategies and initiatives.
Required Significant experience managing Human Resources Information products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Required Advanced written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate work assignments to medium-sized teams.
Demonstrated experience presenting complex technical information to audiences of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Advanced project management skills with demonstrated experience delegating responsibility, tracking project progress, supervising others, and advising teams on competing priorities.
Significant experience working in a project-based environment using leading project management practices including schedule management, status reporting, and communication of project risks and issues.
Required Extensive experience solving technical and non-technical problems; able to delegate solutioning when appropriate to the proper resources.
Able to lead data gathering efforts seeking information from multiple and diverse sources.
Experience operating as a point of escalation.
Demonstrated understanding of how decisions affect teams.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions with integrity.
