Lead Teacher

Start Up Business offering Toddler Enrichment Classes/ Mommy and Me.
I am looking for a Lead Teacher/ Instructor that will be working with me in creating curriculum and fresh innovative ideas.
Each class will be 1 hour that will consist of open play, storytime, dance and art project/activity time.
Responsibilities: -Lead Instructor will have up to 6 toddlers with their Caregiver in a class - Lead Instructor will work closely with the Owner to create curriculum for enrichment classes - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities - Teach and reinforce important skills such as math, literacy, and social-emotional development - Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized support as needed - Maintain open communication with parents - Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials - Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children Skills: - Education in Child Development / 12 community college units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development -Current Immunizations -Must have Covid-19 vaccination and boosters at time of hiring -Active Fingerprint Clearance.
- Strong knowledge of toddler care and development - Proficiency in teaching math concepts to young children - Understanding of child welfare principles and practices - Experience in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues - Familiarity with early intervention strategies for students who may need additional support - Excellent classroom management skills to promote a productive learning environment - Experience working in a childcare or educational setting - Strong literacy education background to support early reading and writing skills Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $19.
