As the Director of Finance, your roles and responsibilities are pivotal in ensuring the financial health and success of the hotel.
Here's an overview of the key duties associated with this prestigious position: * Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the hotel's overall objectives, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and financial sustainability.
* Oversee the creation, management, and continuous monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide accurate and insightful financial projections for decision-making.
* Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders, offering insights into the hotel's financial performance and areas for improvement.
* Manage and optimize cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
Implement strategies for effective working capital management.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks through sound risk management practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
* Implement cost-control measures to optimize operational efficiency and maximize profitability without compromising the quality of service.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the executive team.
Evaluate potential investments and assess their financial impact.
* Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional development.
Ensure the team is well-equipped to meet the financial objectives of the hotel.
* Negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maintaining high standards in quality and service.
* Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems and technologies to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
* Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team, guiding financial implications and potential risks associated with business decisions.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $175,000.
00 - $200,000.
