Hi- my name is Brent.
I'm a nutrition and weight loss coach.
I help people of all ages, shapes, and sizes develop healthy eating habits and meet their health and fitness goals.
*COACHING BASICS*
My rate is $50 per week for coaching, which includes a once-weekly half-hour consultation (remote via video call or phone call), as well as access to me throughout the week via text message.
I will help you develop healthy eating habits, lose weight, and get in the best shape of your life.
I will show you how to make simple, small changes to your diet and develop healthy exercise habits (by exercise habits for many people I simply meaning going for a few short walks throughout the day- this is a great place to start.
We can also talk about strength training if you're interested in getting strong and building muscle)
We'll start by going over your diet and goals and making tiny, easy tweaks.
Step-by-step we'll get you to a healthier place and get you to lose weight in a sustainable and enjoyable way.
If you're looking for guidance, strategies, tips & tricks, and perhaps most importantly- accountability, I can help you.
*COACHING DETAILS*
For those just starting or returning to their fitness journey, we'll keep things very simple.
You'll learn the basics of nutrition, healthy food choices (both physiologically AND psychologically), easy & gradual changes you can make to your diet, realistic goals, and easy exercise routines you can incorporate into your daily life (10-15 minute walks are a great start!).
We'll talk about macronutrients (proteins, carbs, and fats) and the importance of each.
We'll also talk about supplementation if applicable (spoiler alert: most supplements don't do much!)
For those who are more advanced, we'll get into when to eat (is intermittent fasting right for you? What to eat pre and post-workout), food tracking if you're up for it (you'll download the free myfitnesspal app), healthy, sustainable rates of progress, and more.
For most people I recommend slow and steady weight loss.
However, I do have experience with faster (2-3 pounds per week) weight loss and can help with specific "rapid fat loss" protocols, including supplementation, meal timing & frequency, how to maintain muscle mass, and how to prevent the all-too-common crash and burn post-diet.
*ABOUT ME*
I have been interested in health and fitness since I was a teen.
A lifelong athlete, I played soccer, baseball, tennis, and ran cross country.
I started lifting weights at age 14 and haven't stopped.
I am also a runner and cyclist.
Around age 14 I also became interested in nutrition and haven't stopped learning since.
I love helping people achieve their fitness goals and am passionate about healthy living.
