Join a talented, committed, and cohesive middle school faculty at a school that has an authentic family feel.
At Maimonides, you will no doubt be welcomed into a place where your colleagues will enhance your school day and fill you up with positive energy.
You will naturally cultivate meaningful collegial as well as student-teacher and teacher-family relationships.
You will have opportunities to grow yourself as well as your students.
You will not feel alone, as the extent of support provided is firmly in place to ensure that you get what you need in order to be and feel successful.
It is not uncommon for teachers to seek out one another’s support and for faculty to approach administrators comfortably, honestly, and with confidence that everyone’s best interest is always at the forefront.
At Maimonides, we place each child at the center and consider all aspects of each student so that we can strive to inspire curiosity, drive, and a love for learning and growth.
We work hard to strike a balance between joy and rigor throughout the school day.
We want our students to succeed in their academics and grow their skill sets in a serious way, while all the while appreciating who they are as individuals and taking time to nurture their spirits and build their self confidence.
Character development is a focus at our school, and as such we are looking for middle school teachers who are not only passionate and knowledgeable about their subject area, but about adolescents as well.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and seasoned teacher with a passion for teaching and a passion for this adolescent age group.
We want someone who has the ability to curate and bring curriculum to life in order to promote student engagement.
Strong classroom management skills where students feel seen, heard, yet held accountable and to the highest expectations are a must.
