Highly Experienced Dispatcher / Courier Company

Southern California Messengers (SCM) is searching for detail oriented, self-motivated individuals to fill the role of Logistics Dispatch / customer service.
This position will assign all daily orders, provide leadership to our driving associates, and strive to keep transportation costs low.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping metrics and sending accurate reports and other related responsibilities.

*Swing Shift and Weekends* Job Description · Develop strong working relationships with drivers and customers · Communicate with drivers using text and phone · Coordinate the daily operations of drivers to plan next steps accordingly · Provide detailed instructions to drivers · Prioritization of loads based on delivery dates and available drivers · Load / data entry · Resolve any arising problems or complaints .
