The Details
DeFili Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exemplary customer service.
The ideal candidate has experience in customer service and knowledge of domestic distribution.
The Day to Day
Timely and professional communication with various clients, as a primary local point of contact.
Assists in the input and process of incoming orders, following all routing and special instruction guidelines.
Quotes & dispatches outbound shipments.
Monitors and tracks orders, providing shipping updates to clients as applicable.
Prepares necessary paperwork (Delivery Orders, Bill of Lading, etc.
).
Assists with data entry and invoicing, including timely billing within set milestone guidelines.
Timely placement of applicable documents into WMS document storage.
Timely and accurate processing of returns, including WMS receiving and notification to client.
Able to provide warehouse floor support for order QC, stocktake cycle counting and other projects as directed.
Must Haves
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
Prior experience with Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook.
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of UPS order processing
Knowledge of FedEx order processing
Experience using warehouse management systems – Cargo Wise a plus.
General experience with warehouse dock procedures and product flow
Ability to effectively liaison with warehouse leadership and/or staffing
Friendly and professional verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding customer service orientation
Must be able to lift 20 pounds, occasionally carry objects and or standing up to two hours per day.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload for maximum efficiency
Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy
2-year degree preferred or equivalent experience
This position has no supervisory requirements.
