Our primary care medical center is now welcoming applications for a savvy and motivated part-time office assistant.
The ideal candidate appreciates: * Routine and variety with interruptions and focus periods of time * Handling inquiries, appointment bookings, supplement orders and other interactions with patience, kindness, warmth and care * Consistency and flexibility with working schedules\*, and, * Working independently while within the activity of a supportive environment * Work that is social, clerical and enterprising.
\*Anticipated work week is 15-25 hours, usually 19.
5 hrs/week.
Scheduling is mostly fixed at: Monday: 1:45pm-7:15/8:15pm, Wednesday: 1:30pm-7:15/8:15pm, Thursday: 10:45am-7:15/8:15pm Hard Skills that are required to enjoy this role: * Computer skills (email, scheduling patients, Microsoft Word & Excel, video filming and posting to various online platforms, etc).
Need to have your own laptop computer.
* Excellent writing skills for email communications, drafting social media posts (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc), and report writing * Mid-level internet skills including interest in working with a WordPress or other CMS platforms, internet research, and working with social media platforms * Accuracy and detail orientation with inventory, payment processes and other administrative tasks * Performing well within the structure of daily task lists and end-of-day reports * Can perform light cleaning duties and errands when necessary.
Soft Skills that will provide benefit and enable you to enjoy this role: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills: on the telephone, in person when greeting and checking out patients, for email communications with patients and other assorted administrative tasks * Flexibility and ability to multi-task when priorities need to shift * Conscientiousness / thoroughness / detail-orientation * Policy-oriented in order to provide clarity when people inquire with frequently asked questions * Diplomatic under stress * Moving with a kind, organized and prioritized approach to daily tasks * Understanding and following communications protocols.

Remuneration/wage is within the standard range for the office assistant role and is dependent on experience.
Earnings can also be enhanced by candidate’s initiative to engage in projects that result in employee bonuses! Training starts at $22/hr until showing good command over all tasks and then will be raised accordingly up to $25/hr.
