) Jewelry construction / jewelry-making techniques such as: • Beading, wire-wrapping gemstones, working with charms, cutting chain to specified lengths for bracelets/necklaces, and opening & closing jump rings or wire-wrapping ends to finish product.
Plus pearl/bead knotting and using a soldering iron on nylon cord.
• Solid familiarity with various components and tools used in jewelry production.
• Ability to replicate style sample according to specifications.
• Create a preliminary design, prepare materials and provide completed piecework.
My combined experience includes eleven years as a freelancer constructing handcrafted piecework for established designers and fashion accessories companies: • Jewelry Product Assembler for a Fashion/Watch accessories company for over six years (2011-2017).
• Jewelry Designer/Bracelet Production for an entrepreneur/gift accessories company (2017-2021).
• Jewelry Product Assembly Assistant for an independent designer (2019-current).
