While clearing out our grandparents' house, the heavy decision came of what to do with the boxes and boxes of physical media left behind (VHS tapes, photo albums, floppy disks, etc.
) A burden, but worth its weight in memories.
So this task was appointed to me, and if I didn't find a way, no one would.
And I'm so glad I did! Locked away in those tapes were precious treasures we couldn't have predicted.
Old family stories were fleshed out.
Voices we hadn't heard in years.
Weddings and forgotten vacations were relived.
And moments that would have been lost to time are now family memes.
I only regret not doing it sooner.
