As a DevOps Engineer at Boingo, you'll play a pivotal role in our infrastructure development and maintenance.
We're seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual who can contribute to architectural decisions and thrive in a dynamic environment where you'll have the autonomy to choose technologies and methodologies for system enhancement.
From ad-serving to remote management tools for commercial Wi-Fi Networks, you'll be at the forefront of our R&D efforts to stay ahead in the Cell-Wi-Fi convergence.
The typical starting base pay for this position is $122,000 to $152,000 per year, plus 5% bonus potential.
Responsibilities: Collaborate on architecture and design discussions Design, implement, and test infrastructure projects Integrate software projects with Continuous Integration systems Adapt quickly to new development environments and tools for cross-platform projects Work both independently and as part of a team with in-house and external developers Maintain multi-disciplinary skills essential for effective problem-solving Requirements: Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and performance evaluation Knowledge of networking principles and data flow in networks (Layer 2 and 3) Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, memory usage, software quality, and network problems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required This position is hybrid in-office, networking lab and/or colocation facility Meet Boingo – named among the Best Places to Work!
