The ideal candidate is well-versed in operating and improving distributed online systems, eager to automate & optimize repeatable tasks, and enjoys constantly learning.

What you’ll get to do:
Collaboratively design and implement infrastructure for a brand new fast-paced online RTS game.
Implement key service solutions including logging, secrets management, and deployments.
Collaborate with game development teams to execute release and live operations plans.
Automate all the things - from deployments to testing, own the systems that reduce toil.
Have the opportunity to flex into other areas of interest on the game development team.
Requirements:
What we are looking for:
4+ years of SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Operations experience in the games industry.
Experience shipping and supporting a AAA, live service game.
Comfortable building tools utilizing multiple programming languages.
Ability to dive deep while troubleshooting to identify and fix root cause issues.
Distributed system design & management experience (micro-services, high-availability).
Experience with designing cloud-agnostic solutions (e.
g.
, AWS, GCP, and Tencent Cloud).
Relational and non-relational database systems experience (e.
g.
, Redis, MongoDB, and MySQL).
Familiarity with infrastructure configuration management tools (e.
g.
, Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.
g.
, Jenkins, Argo CD, and Spinnaker).
Understanding of time-series databases & metric collections systems used for monitoring (e.
g, InfluxDB, Prometheus, and ElastiCache).
Experience implementing and tuning actionable alerts for live service environments.
Familiarity with visualization and aggregation tools (e.
g.
, Grafana, Splunk, and Kibana).
Experience with Linux and Windows.
Excellent communication skills.
Pluses:
Experience establishing Service-Level Objectives for a live service game.
Skills in Golang, C++, and/or C# programming languages.
Experience designing and extending Kubernetes infrastructure.
Experience securing systems at scale (e.

, SELinux, AppArmor, Nessus, and OpenVAS).
Knowledge of networking and common diagnostic tools (e.

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $79,200 to $224,440 per year.
Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
