*Reporting Relationships:* This position reports to the Director of Microsoft Applications *Location: *Rochester, NY; Albany, NY; Buffalo, NY; New York, NY; Long Island, NY; Boston, MA; Manchester, NH; Providence, RI; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA *Essential Job Responsibilities:* * Design workplace solutions, maintain and improve the security and compliance posture of environments, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues.
* Provide expert level administration and configuration in Microsoft Entra ID design, networking, and integration in an enterprise environment utilizing Azure AD Connect, Azure AD SSO, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, and multi-factor architectures.
* Maintain the overall design of Microsoft 365 security solutions such as MAM/MDM, Conditional Access, Information Protection, trainable classifiers, and Sensitivity Labels, with an eye for overall information architecture as pertinent to the Legal industry.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of best practices, licensing, adoption frameworks, and feature enhancements in Microsoft 365, closely knitting technology solutions to the business needs.
* Manage and support Windows devices and system imaging, application packaging, device and configuration profiles, testing and deployment via Microsoft Intune.
* Support migration to Microsoft 365 and/or implementation of a hybrid solution, evaluate the current environment, and develop user stories based on technical and business processes related to data privacy, security, information protection, and compliance.
* Build strong, positive relationships with internal team members in Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, and Development.
* Research various Service Desk incidents including the associated cause and effect.
Works with and mentors Service Desk, Microsoft Team, Development, Information Security and Infrastructure Operations team members to troubleshoot, resolve and document internal incidents pursuant to established SLAs.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

_ *Job Requirements:* * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required.
Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
* 6-8 years of IT technical design, implementation, technology management, and/or architectural experience.
* Certification in at least one of the following: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft 365: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate * Experience with Modern Workplace transformations and implementation and administration of OneDrive for Business, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online including troubleshooting, configuration, security, compliance, information protection, and support in hybrid scenarios.
* Experience with Active Directory (including certificate services), Microsoft Entra ID and managed identities, Group Policy and AGPM, and working knowledge of PKI Infrastructure.
* Hands-on expertise in technologies across Microsoft and VMware technology stacks including any of the following domains:Modern Workplace: Windows 10, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 Administration, Information Protection, Compliance.
Identity and Authentication: Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Entra ID Connect, Conditional Access, Multi-factor Authentication.
Private/Public Cloud: Compute, Storage, Networking, Infrastructure-as-Code.
Performance monitoring: SCOM, Azure Monitor, LogicMonitor.
* Mid to expert level knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation of infrastructure services to satisfy a diverse range of system requirements.
* Innovative self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize and complete agile tasks to meet deadlines.
* Strong and credible interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise technical documentation.
* Excellent critical thinking and customer service skills with a passion for delivering proactive service and continual improvement in results.

*Working Conditions:* * Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available and with no exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, dust, or other factors.
* “On-call” rotation for after-hours infrastructure support required (rotation is defined as one week-long shift required every 8-12 weeks).
*Physical Demands:* * Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk a majority of the time * High frequency of computer keyboarding and viewing a computer monitor * Ability to travel to other NP offices _In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary range for this position, depending on location, is as follows: Los Angeles: $95,700 to $138,800; San Francisco: $99,700 to $144,500; NYC: $99,700 to $144,500; Providence: $87,800 to $127,200_ _In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications.
