LinQuest is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer Tools Developer Intern to join our team in our El Segundo, CA or Colorado Springs, CO office.
This internship will span from June 1, 2023, through August 31, 2023, with the potential to go part time past this period.
This intern will support of EM&C and specifically the development of the Kahless software platform, providing a SATCOM Common Operating Picture (COP).
They will expand their skills in relevant technologies and languages through personal research and share that knowledge with the Kahless team.
Responsibilities:
Setup automated testing mechanisms within a CI/CD pipeline to provide additional validation checks to microservice from a black-box, function perspective.
Develop a RF (Radio Frequency) Spectrum generator service to simulate the collection of RF Signals from a sensor to be used in the kahless development environment to provide a high-fidelity streaming test vector to develop visualizations against.
Enhance our data processing pipelines to provide addition Data Quality/Error Handling (DQ/EQ) checks via kafka processors.
Investigate into what new capabilities can be incorporated into the Cesium 3D globe data visualization environment to enhance the end users situational awareness.
Required Skills and Experience:
You must be a college student in good standing, enrolled in a 4-year university in your Senior year (graduating in Summer 2024, Fall 2024 or Winter 2024)
Pursing a Bachelors degree in (Computer Science or Engineering)
You must have a minimum college GPA requirement of 3.

Compensation:
Starting hourly pay for this position is $24 an hour
