The large, restricted Development and O&M programs have an immediate need for a Software/DevOps Engineer to directly support the activities of the Software Configuration Management (SCM) team as they modernize the factory software production and delivery pipeline, transitioning from traditional/legacy methodologies.
Basic Qualifications for the Software Engineer: Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access prior to start date 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree Strong SW coding experience with Python Experience in Java, Perl C++, similar programming languages also highly desirable Strong experience with Linux/Unix and Shell scripting Hands on back-end experience with Atlassian Tool suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo (or Jenkins) Knowledge of protocols like REST API, CI/CD, and Nexus Preferred Qualifications for the Software Engineer: Current active SCI clearance Strong coding experience in Java, Perl, C++, or other similar programming languages Strong understanding of the requirements of the SCM function and how it is impacted by the changes being introduced to all of the factory processes Strong communication skills to clearly present technical approaches and findings Ability to thrive and perform these technical tasks in a fast-paced environment with high expectations Basic Qualifications for the Principal Software Engineer: Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access prior to start date 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; an additional 9 years of experience in lieu of degree Advanced Object-Oriented programming skills Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system Proficient with C/C++ programming Preferred Qualifications for the Principal Software Engineer: Strong in math and algorithms Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholders Previous participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile process Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo) Experience developing in a Linux environment using git Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills Active TS/SCI security clearance Salary Range: $87,200 - $130,800 Salary Range 2: $107,300 - $160,900 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
