Child Care Assistant

We are seeking a Childcare Assistant for a reputable in home childcare program to join our team! You will assist in the development and supervision of children ages infant to twelve years of age.
This position is part-time/full-time entry level and ideal for a college student.
Responsibilities: * Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner * Implement creative activities to assist with child development * Create a positive nurturing environment for children * Perform a variety of tasks, such as feeding, changing diapers, potty training and overseeing play, sanitize classroom & toys * Self starter * Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children * Establishing a professional rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children Qualifications: * Previous experience with childcare or related fields preferred * Passionate about working with children * Ability to build rapport with children and their parents * Positive ad patient demeanor * CPR/First Aide Certified * Pass a background check * ECE Coursework (preferred) * Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training Certificate * California Drivers License Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.
