We are an easy-going family of 3! We are homebodies who love watching comedies, going for walks, and soaking up the sun at the beach.
We both work from home for non-profits so making the world a better place is big for us.
We live an apartment complex in a super clean and safe neighborhood that is walkable.
We like organization and routine, so the fact that our baby is too young for a schedule is frying this mama’s brain! Honesty and open communication are important to us.
It’s a two-way street.
We are very open-minded and want our nanny to feel comfortable discussing their job satisfaction, etc with us! We also don’t care what our nanny looks like; it’s what is on the inside that matters!
Our 3-month-old likes exploring and competing for the blow-out world record! He has FOMO and does not like naps.
He’s super curious, loves lights, and is very affectionate!
_*A bit about you: *_
Infants and toddlers are your two favorite age groups.
You have a good sense of humor and are present, and punctual.
You are comfortable in an environment with parents working from home.
You love watching babies discover new things and enjoy helping them explore the world with age-appropriate play and stimulation.
You are attentive, honest, and have strong communication skills.
You have great suggestions/recommendations about the baby’s schedule but are also someone comfortable reinforcing the family’s decisions and parenting style.
_*Job Duties:*_Engage baby in sensory play, age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, and exploration.
Changing diapers, burping, swaddling, soothing, and putting baby down for naps.
Assist with feeding baby, and help create/follow baby’s routine with the family while deferring to parenting choices.
Clean bottles and breast pump equipment if needed.
Child-related cleaning such as wiping down high chairs after meals, tidying the baby’s play area, and washing baby dishes.
Assist family by reminding them of upcoming appointments or classes for the baby when appropriate (Family will share a calendar with you that they will be responsible for).

*Qualifications*: 1-2 years of childcare experience with infants and toddlers, previous nanny experience, infant CPR certification (or willing to get), reliable transportation, willing to take a driving screen if asked (though there won’t be regular driving involved), proficient in English (do not have to be fluent), and are willing to care for a mildly-ill child when needed.
*Set yourself apart*: You have infant CPR certification, are a nature lover, and/or prefer direct communication.

*Schedule:* Monday-Friday (8a-4p) or (9a-5p)
_Full-time schedule with guaranteed hours starting mid-to-late May 2024_
