- Supervise and manage a class of about 20 students
- Experience designing after school lesson plans, a plus
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Must enjoy working with children (middle school children!)
- Have positive attitude and be able to work cooperatively with other staff
- Prior experience in teaching/tutoring students strongly preferred
- Prior experience in teaching PE, art, music, technology, Spanish, and/or Korean is a plus
Hours will be from 3:00 - 6:30 p.
m.
M, W, Th, F, and 2:00 - 6:30 p.
m.
Tuesdays, with some Fridays being 12:00 - 6:30 p.
m.
- Minimum completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units from a recognized college or university.
- BA/BS or Above Highly Preferred - Prior to hiring, we will need to verify:
Clear TB test within 60 days prior to Hire Date.
Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
Live Scan background check.
