Freight Sales (Los Angeles)

Freight Agents that have reputable years of freight / sales / 3PL / warehousing broker experience in the logistics industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience.
EXPERIENCE BROKERING FREIGHT in Freight/Transporation industry.
Handle all operations and communication with customers and carriers.
Lead database Full visibility of your shipments, carrier costs, customer costs.
Responsibilities: Generate New Business: Utilize your existing network and industry knowledge to acquire new clients and build lasting relationships.
Customer Retention: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Negotiation: Negotiate rates and terms with customers maximize profitability and provide competitive solutions.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all transactions and shipments.
Qualifications: Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in outside sales, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.
Customer Base: Must bring an existing customer base or book of business in the freight industry.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective negotiation and relationship-building.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively to achieve mutually beneficial agreements with clients and carriers.
Self-Motivated: A self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using relevant technology and software for freight brokerage.
Transportation Knowledge: Understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes.
