Here we have a very beautiful and rare antique silver snuff box from an old historic Massachusetts estate An amazing depiction of a dance scene with two couples courting and a dancing man, a dog with trees and a pavilion in the background A very stylish large table or pocket snuff box, a true antique & more than 100 years old.
This antique Snuff Box will shine in any snuff box or silver collection.

A larger size measuring approx 3 3/8" long x 1 3/16" wide x 1 3/16" high and weighing 71.
02 grams Condition is Very Good showing a few small, shallow dings and two tiny seam separations where the top of the cover meets the side edge of the cover (back right corner, not very noticeable to the naked eye).
Left in exact unpolished condition as found in at an old Boston, MA Estate.
The cover opens with nice tension and closes securely.
The hinges appear to be in excellent original condition.
The top cover closes ever so slightly on a slant and we believe this is how it was originally designed.
There is some loss/wear to the fine details on the repousse cover.
Overall, a very solid, pretty and sought after snuff box by acclaimed silver maker / importer
