Position Overview:
Arrowroot Capital Management is a Private Equity firm based in Marina del Rey, CA.
We invest in emerging enterprise software businesses.
The firm is looking to add a Fund Accountant to our growing team.
The Fund Accountant will report to the CFO and will assist the Finance & Accounting Manager with all aspects of fund administration, including fund accounting, investor relations, and compliance.

This position requires you to be in our Marina del Rey office.
Responsibilities:
Assist with quarterly closing process for funds (NAV package and financial statements)
Assist with reconciling cash and bank activity
Prepare AP/accrued expenses schedules and record expense transactions
Provide support to treasury-related functions, wire transfer process, and compiling wire support documentation for investments and expense payments
Support the valuation process of investments
Work with Manager to coordinate annual year-end audit and tax process
Assist with investor reporting, including capital statements and investor letters
Assist with IR functions, including responding to investor inquiries, data requests, and confirmations
Assist with the firm’s compliance tasks and regulatory requirements
Prepare ad-hoc reports for investors and management
Work with CFO and Manager on special projects, documenting procedures, and preparing additional reports, as needed.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting, fund administration, or private equity fund accounting
General understanding of fund accounting and US GAAP
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with good organizational skills
Ability to operate independently and proactively with strong sense of responsibility
Strong work ethic and drive to meet deadlines and respond to urgent issues or tasks
Strong communication skills (verbal and written in a professional manner)
High Proficiency in MS Office Products, particularly Excel
CA Salary Transparency Statement:
As of the date of this posting, Arrowroot Capital reasonably expects to pay between $75,000 - $85,000 (base salary + bonus) plus benefits for the position of Fund Accountant.
