This paid internship program is an 8-10 week commitment with an estimated 32-40 hours per week.
The schedule will typically be between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM.

The Summer Internship Program at 1st Century Bank offers qualified students the opportunity to integrate academic learning with hands-on, practical experience in a fast-paced commercial banking environment.
High performing interns are eligible for full-time positions in the Officer Development Program.
The Summer Internship includes:
A comprehensive overview of the banking industry via case studies, departmental rotations, executive briefings, strategy meetings and special projects.
Business and industry research, compliance monitoring and financial analysis.
Loan presentations to senior management.
One-on-one mentoring with recent ODP graduates, program managers and HR career counselors.
Team challenges.
Respect for individuals with divergent skill sets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed junior year of a BA/BS degree.
Business major required.
Cumulative 3.
25 GPA.
Accounting or finance coursework required.
Demonstrated extracurricular achievement.
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and excel in a deadline-driven environment.
High level of initiative and accountability.
Results-driven, team-oriented and client-focused.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
The internship pays $25.
00 per hour.
