Marcum LLP is seeking an Advisory Intern who is detail focused, has high-energy, and strong organizational skills to join our national firm in our Los Angeles office (100% in-office internship).
This position will assist a group that works on engagements related to martial dissolution, commercial litigation, and trust and estates.

Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis work with respect to valuation, forensic accounting and litigation engagements.
Designing and working with financial models for analyzing financial statements, developing discounted cash flows, market multiple transactions and asset tracing.
Ability to function independently within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, coupled with an ability to work on team-oriented projects.
Perform research on economic, industry and market trends impacting the specific entity being analyzed.
Qualifications
Familiarity with financial statement analysis and business concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.
Demonstrated ability to generate a quality work product in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.
Progression toward bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics required.
