Flight Itinerary (About The Role)
We are seeking a Senior Accountant (General Ledger) in our Santa Monica Corporate office who is ready to jump in and help our fast-growing business grow even faster.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of financial activity and will be an important member of the Corporate Finance / Accounting team.
The Senior Accountant will prepare and review daily accounting operations and the timely period-end close process.
The Senior Accountant would be the key go-to person for international accounting, including consolidations, statutory filing, and direct and indirect tax filing.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple accounting processes, with a strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance, and have ownership as a subject matter expert for certain transaction cycles and accounting policy applications.
What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)
Overseeing the execution of the worldwide month-end close processes, including all month-end journal entries and account reconciliations of multiple processes
Own various accruals according to management estimates
Prepare monthly consolidation and financial reporting under US GAAP
Perform monthly fluctuation analysis by entity, by account, and by function
Provide guidance to international accounting teams to ensure consistency in consolidated financial reporting and application of corporate policies
Support external year-end audit and quarterly reviews
Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in company-wide system and process implementation projects
What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)
BS in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of combined experience in both public accounting and industry
Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge
Excellent ability to analyze problems, think critically for solutions
Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to handle ambiguity effectively, oversee multiple projects at once follow-through on commitments
Ability to work productively in a dynamic environment and solutions-oriented
Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)
NetSuite experience required
Experience working with international teams required
Experience working in a high-growth company preferred

Compensation: The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience and is as follows:
$88,000—$124,000 USD
