Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Status (FLSA): Non-Exempt – Full Time
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position Summary: The Accounting Specialist will perform function to ensure customer invoices are processed, payments are posted, revenue adjustments are processed, and credit holds are properly communicated.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Daily management of Credit Holds, monitor, and communicate status of all inbound shipments to appropriate department
Manage the revenue adjustment process, includes daily monitor of revenue adjustment log, verify all revenue adjustments are approved
Data enter revenue adjustments in Transoft daily
Invoice all shipments daily
Scan in checks and make deposit daily
Upload invoice, back-up, reference data into customer portal daily
Handle all requirements for special accounts invoicing, invoice daily
Daily posting of all checks, cash, and ACH payments received
Reconcile and enter data in QuickBooks daily
Assisting the AR/AP team
Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or G.

D.
equivalent preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.
g.
, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent computer skills using 10-Key by touch
Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format
Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
